BTW- the ebay listing is wrong.  The unit is the 9950.

The unit must have been painted by a railfan….following Challenger Imports units ….their factory painted E8A in both Red and Black had the same stripe configuration.

9950 in BN paint is the only unit I’ve come across in my E7/E8/E9 files so painted.

BTW, going through hundreds of shots of E Units looking at the stripes on each one rapidly can make you a little crossed and nauseous!

I found this slide while surfing on Ebay tonight. Ex CB&Q 9952 has 5 nose stripes instead of 4. The unit is in Amtrak service. Link is below:
