I would like to see the article and any accompanying photos about the St. Charles Air Line.   It sounds like the photos may be from before the Air Line was elevated.

I've come across a couple of August 1895 photos of the St Charles Air Line crossing (multiple tracks crossing multiple tracks) in Chicago in a multi-issue article about signalling and interlocking in Chicago, downloaded from the Linda Hall Library.

If anyone is interested, contact me off line and I'll forward the two pages. They are not specifically CB&Q so I won't post them to the files.
