Briefly here is a short answer as there is future full length article 
On the Aurora frt house already written for a future Zephyr
It includes some very nice maps,and other visuals.

The Aurora freight house job was based at the Aurora Rdhse 
The job had a w/c and made two trips to Eola each shift via the
Aurora lead.

The article provides much detail on switching and LCL at and through the house

You Ex-Q folks probably can answer this.

When the Q switched the old freight house on broadway (next to the smaller roundhouse) I assume the engine and cars came out of Eola yard. Did they push or pull? Did they have a waycar with the cars?

Any info appreciated. (I've modeled Aurora Car Shops and want to duplicate as accurately as possible this job)
