[CBQ] Re: What are high green and high yellow?

Stephen,

High Green on almost every railroad I've ever worked on is "Clear, Proceed."  
High Yellow is "Approach, Be Prepared to Stop at the Next Signal."  However, if 
any signals below the high green or high yellow (on the same signal mast) is 
any color than red, other signal rules apply.  

These can vary from railroad to railroad!  I worked for CSX and the C&O signals 
meant different rules than the SBD signals.  I dealt with both working in 
Richmond, VA.  I'm not sure if an BN trainmen had that problem working on the 
"Hill Lines."
