I have 2 35mm slides from the BRHS slide set. They are composite gons. One of 
which is a cut down USRA gon. Two photos in the Color Guide to Freight and 
Passenger Car bookpage 124 to freight cars shows a black steel sided car with 
fishbelly sides used as boom cars.
Let me know if you need scans of the trans.
