Hi and welcome!
If you donot know it, there is a US model train convention going on in Rodgau 
near Frankfurt Germany on the 15th and 16th of Oct. All scales. Just jump on 
the 
TGV or the ICE and you will be there. There is a group that does CB&Q in HO.
