Gerald,

In answer to your question as to where the Q Chgo frt houses were located
in the hopes that folks may have photos and not realize it. Here you go:
Old house 1,2,3 were at Harrison,New house 1,2 were on same site just west
of CUS. House 4 was east of the PRR main(south side in Q/CUS lingo) just
about where the St Charles Air Line now goes overhead. This was pre 1931 and
it was knocked down for the St Charles Air Line elevation. House 5 and 6
were around the curve at 18th St and just west of Canal St on the South side
of the mains. Old house 7 was west of Western Ave on the south side and
just east of the Q leg of the Wye headed toward the stock yards, etc.New house
7 and 11 were in the general area of the former Western Ave roundhouse
service area. House 10 was off Cermak in the lumber district. House 9 was in
Cicero yard on the North side and faced 26th st. House 8 fronted the street
just North of LaVergne depot and the back faced Cicero and switching was
done from the Cicero"Little Yard". It could be well photographed from Clyde
Depot.

I do have a large amount of material about the wworkings of the houses and
LCL but few photos. Would make for a boring Bulletin that probably would be
 still born.

Leo
