And that someone was undoubtedly me, though I don't remember making the
change. As an editor I would probably make the change again today,
simply to differentiate the small section gang conveyances, which are
commonly known today a speeders and were also often called pop cars for
their sound, from larger passenger motor cars, which the Q called just
that: passenger motor cars. Sorry that I'm presumably the one
responsible for this discussion! Hol Wagner Date: Wed, 20 Jul 2011

CBQ@yahoogroups.com <CBQ@yahoogroups.com> Before someone takes me to
task for using the term "speeder" in BB35. I must add that someone else
added that term after I wrote it. My section foreman grandfather would
have skinned me alive for calling a motor car anything besides a motor
car. From: Kenneth Martin <kmartin537@surewest.net> To:

[CBQ] Re: Speeder Shed. Pulling out the instruction sheet for the Q
Connection(now Laserkit) "CB&Q Standard Tool House" it quotes drawing
#65755 5/8 as 14' wide, 12' deep and 10' 6 " tall. The drawing for the
track shows the rail from track to the shed is a 4" x 4" x 17' wood
beam. Ken Martin One built, one unbuilt. On Jul 19, 2011, at 5:42 PM,
