Thanks Glen On a recent trip through Fairmont I made use of an old engineering department station plat which shows the straight through line on the east side of Fairmont removed IIRC..don't have the paper in front of me in 1917. KC&O trains would have had to pull around one leg of the wye, then back into the Fairmont depot...then cross over the Q someplace and head north to McCool.
