Subject: [BRHSlist] Resignation of Hol Wagner
For a variety of reasons that he listed in his resignation letter Hol Wagner
has resigned as the editor of the Bulletin. One of the reasons was the
decision by the Board of Directors to split the SD Bulletin into two parts
due to the cost of the publication, the increased cost of postage, and the
problems with the bindings on the large issues. He has agreed to finish the
SD Bulletin and after some minor changes the first part which will be
Bulletin #47 will be going to the printer. We don't know the date when it
will be mailed to the members yet.

To President Tacey and the Board of Directors,
It is a shame to lose an individual such as Hol Wagner as the editor of the
Bulletin and other BRHS publications. He has been a pillar of experience and
knowldege for many years, and his direct input on matters concerning the
Society and it's publications are a tragic loss. Hopefully there are others
who have been working with Hol who can attempt to fill his position, but it
sure appears that many active individuals have certainly come and gone of late,
at an almost alarming rate. This causes me great concern.
I am compelled to ask for a more detailed explanation for spliting the SD
Bulletin due to postage, size and the cost of the publication, considering that
the members of the Society have not received a Bulletin in almost three years.
I for one, think that the information regarding this decision has been quite
minimal at best, and one would think that by not publishing a Bulletin since
the last one, that the items you identified would be a mute point.
