I checked the Pullman Project site (_www.pullmanproject.com_ 
(http://www.pullmanproject.com) ) regarding the  two Pullman 14 Section 
Sleepers "New 
Capitol" and "New Omaha" and found nothing  in the record as to when the brine 
tanks would/could have been  removed.   Perhaps someone else has more 
information about a specific  date for those two sleepers.  However, after 
quickly 
scanning the AC column  of the Pullman Project spreadsheet I did note that 
it seemed that brine tanks  (in general and where noted) were being removed 
(BTR) in the 1948-1953  era.  So this puts the brine tank removal smack dab 
in the middle of  the era you are trying to model if it did in fact occur on 
"New Capitol" and  "New Omaha."
