Got an aswer tks - my question was why the ad (which I had separate from the
magazine) was blank on the back side. Apparently was done that way either at
CB&Q's request or Kalmbach failed to fill other side with another glossy ad.

Gerald,

If you haven't had a response yet, I recently purchased the DVD set
of Trains Mag from the first issue to Dec. 2010. I haven't tried
copying anything from it, but could try. I also have the original
issue somewhere but am not organized enough to find it.
