Sunshine Models produces a nice resin kit.  I think they list for $30 or 
a bit more now.  Here are the kit #'s

54.5 STOCK CB&Q 36' SM-18 stock car
54.6 STOCK FW&D 36' SM-18 stock car (to 1951)
