The cars with that lettering are the remaining CB&Q purchased gallery cars. The cars are owned by BNSF and one of it's employees added 'BNSF Railway' to the letterboard of the majority of the cars and 'BURLINGTON' to the remainder. The cars purchased during the BN era and beyond do not have the letterboard above the doors so do not carry the lettering. Bryan J. As we were backing into the station I got to see a good mix of gallery cars used on the BNSF. Some of the older cars had BNSF stenciled over the door. One car had BURLINGTON still in place.
