Ray, I know I have a picture of one from the south side of CUS. I think it was one for a GM&O train. This one was right by the track entrance. I'll look tonight. Rich G -----Original Message----- From: trainboy.geo <tczephyr@hotmail.com> To: CBQ@yahoogroups.com Sent: Thu, Feb 3, 2011 11:23 am Subject: [CBQ] CUS train announcement board I recently acquired a Suburban train announcement board from the CUS that lists "BURLINGTON ROUTE SUBURBAN DEPARTURES - DOWNERS GROVE AND ALL INTERMEDIATE STATIONS" It is a black heavy canvas that hung under the track numbers at Chicago Union Station. I have been trying to locate photos inside CUS that would show a sample of these announcement boards and have looked in all of my Q books and can not find any photos. I am sure that those of you that have traveled through the CUS remember what I am talking about. I would really like to find a photo from inside of CUS that shows an example of these announcement boards. If anyone can direct me to such photos, I would really appreciate it.
