Leo-
Can't help you on the 1950's all baggage car train, never saw a picture of one
that fits your discripton.

On the subject of Milk, I do recall seeing a photo (in a book, I think) of a
Milk Platform in suburban territory with one of the cream cars next to it. I
don't have it as a digital file and don't recall if I made a copy of it, but it
would be pretty early as I think all the milk cars were gone by 1910.

Here's a transcription of a single form I found in the Newberry for Milk
Service. Note that the Milk trains extended past Aurora.....

  Subject: [CBQ] Milk

Still hoping somebody, somewhere has a photo of an all baggage car train on
the east end to go with the article on the special limited service offered
each year by the Q into the 1950s.

Looking forward, I have more than enough material for an article on milk
service on the C&I and east end. Just need a photo or 2 of a milk car or
train with a milk car on the Q.

Thanks guys, I promise to return it.

  Leo
