[CBQ] Galesburg Railroad Memorabilia Show October 2

Galesburg's First Annual Railroad Memorabilia Show will be held at Carver 
Center Gym in Galesburg on Saturday October 2, 2010.  The show will run from 9 
AM. to 4 PM. and will be held at the Carver Center Gym about 2& 1/2 blocks west 
of the Amtrak Depot on South Kellogg Street.  

Tables are only $15.00 and the event is being promoted in area newspapers and 
on various web sites.  I called Amtrak this morning and there are plenty of 
seats available on the Carl Sandburg for only $40 round trip from Chicago.  The 
train arrives at Galesburg at 10:20 AM. and departs for Chicago at 6:56 PM.  
This is also the first weekend of the local fall foliage festival the Spoon 
River Drive.
