I bought my BW Raymond in a hock shop in Dothan, Ala. on my first 3 day pass while working for Uncle Sam. Didn't make much money so had to make two payments. That way I was ready when I got out and a new job with BN. Trouble is today the watch pockets have shrunk and it will not fit. After trying to sell it at a couple shows with no takers my oldest son decided he wanted it. Raymond from the "watch salesman" in the Edgemont Depot in 1977. I'm first owner, and I still use it. The other day I was winding it...which I do at 10:00P, give or take, every day. My young Conductor asked how old it was. I told him it was made before 1977. Then....the question that almost knocked me out of my seat: "Can you still get batteries for one that old?"
