Unfortunately, the documentation doesn't tell me what horns are supplied,
and neither does the BLI web site. They are identified as CV 224 values 0,
1, and 2. I listened to all three. 0 sounds awful, much like a kazoo out of
control, 1 sounds like a modern diesel horn, and 2 sounds like a kazoo under
control. I thought I could find a recording online if I knew which horn to
look for, then match it to the right CV.

Nelson,
Most Q switchers were equipped with a single note air horn, although I'm not
exactly sure which model. I'm pretty sure it was the Leslie S-200, though.
http://atsf.railfan.net/airhorns/a200.html ; What horns did they supply?

I just got the BLI NW-2 and it comes with three horn options. What horn did
the Q use on NW-2s in the early 1950s?
