Paul: I assume you are talking about a two bay OPEN hopper, in which case I am
in the same situation as you.
If you are talking about a COVERED two bay hopper, then I don't understand
Bowser's response. Bowser's car with the closed sides is a dead ringer for the
Q's covered hoppers, or at least too close for me to worry about, and they
already did some of these cars for the Q Connection, which turned out
beautifully. Bowser's web site shows three Q numbers in Black with block
lettering either proposed or available, but I haven't been able to get any
information at all on their availability.

Subject: [CBQ] Bowser Is Possibly Interested...
...in doing a two bay Burlington/CB&Q hopper in HO.
It seems Bowser has been cranking the two bay out in various roads for quite
awhile now. I recently inquired about one in Burlington paint being long
overdue. This is the response I got today:
"We may do the eventually but believe the reason we have so far is that their
car is too different from ours to be considered as close enough to paint on our
body. If you have pictures to prove otherwise and validate our doing that paint
scheme on our car we would love to see them and may consider doing that scheme
in a future run."

I could use a bunch of these for my layout. I don't have the info he seeks but
ISTR the Society has a manufacturer liason for such things.
Anyway, hope this helps with possibly getting a needed model to market..
