I have two San Juan Car Co O scale D&RGW Fowler outside-braced box cars which I will be assembling in the near future. I prefer to equip all of my wood and plastic cars with metal wheels for performance, and the Fowler box cars, built 1916, used 33" wheels with ribbed backs. I have been trying to find some for quite some time without success. Today I looked into a PSC catalog at Caboose Hobbies, per the suggestion of Dave Rygmyr at NWSL, and found a set of O scale 36" cast brass wheels with ribbed backs (PSC #A481). Caboose did not have them, and Art called PSC, who told him that they were no longer in production and not available from PSC. I am hoping that someone from RGMHS or BRHS might have two sets they would be willing to sell. Please contact me at railbass@comcast.net if you have any of these wheels or know of a source for such wheels. Thanks in advance. - John Manion Denver, CO [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
