A few of us are setting up a CB&Q photo shoot on Saturday, August 8th at about 4pm. Sorry for the short notice. The equipment will be the CB&Q 9255, CB&Q 3007, CB&Q 504, and possibly the CB&Q 9911A and Nebraska Zephyr. We still have a little bit of work to do to the 3007 to get the bell back on it, hope to be done with that mid morning. We will not be putting the rods back on it, but will try to position 9255 so that the missing rod is not seen. It'll be the firemens side of all the equipment, positioned near the west end of the station tracks. We need to be wrapped up by 7:30pm on Saturday as I have a meeting that night. I wasn't planning on night shots for what I need, but if you really want to do something like that, let me know in advance, we'll see what can be worked out. If the weather doesn't cooperate on Saturday evening, we are gonna go for Sunday evening about the same time. If you think you might come out, please email me at jamesk at irm. org.
