Jim,
Are you talking about Central Illinois Railroad SW9 #1206. It was
recently painted in the CB&Q blackbird paint scheme (except for
lettering) by RR employees. Here is a link to a photo of it: http://
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EMD_SW9.
It also recently appeared in a Trains Magazine photo. Search
"Central Illinois Railroad" for a complete description of the line
which operates some leased BNSF trackage that was once owned by the
Q. The locomotive itself, was originally Belt Railway of Chicago.

I'm currently starting to a roundhouse for my layout and would like to find
some photos of Q roundhouses in the late 50's to early 60's. Anyone on here
ever see the Rock Falls Roundhouse. If so can you recall anything maybe even how
it was set up.Also this is a off topic question but what color black is correct
for the geeps in the black and gray scheme.

In regards to the paint question, according to the list at
http://www.burlingtonroute.com/docs/modelling/painting.html, Engine Black from
just about every manufacturer is correct. The correct gray would be Accu-Paint
#102-43 CP Gray or Scalecoat #640-68 CP Gray.

Here are some photos of Burlington RPO #1923 in action a couple of weeks
ago. The videos are even better, but I'm still working on getting the huge
files uploaded.
