abandonment proceedings had began in 1967, but didn't
have any other info.
The line was abandoned in 3 sections. The first was to Colusa. South of Colusa
stayed opened for a period of time because of the
grain elevator that was located there. At some point the section from Colusa to
Mendon was abandoned, but I'm not sure when.
Finally, the section from Mendon to Quincy was abandoned, but I thought in was
gone by 1979.
Russ, where did the info you posted below come from (or did I miss a previous
email)?
