It definitely is a restored unit.  It lack the original portals and the number 
board shows slots for each individual number, rather than the smooth one 
originally on the unit.  Also, the font of the numbers and letter differs from 
the original.

      I actually think that one, Russ, is the repainted unit at the St. Louis 

Museum of Transportation. ..which is why it looks so clean!  :)
