Jeff, Going to Moorman at Quincy that would be common. Dried blood would be from a slaughter house. Some of those cars would have holes in the roof to make theme easier to load. If not they would just use a shovel. They would want it a bulk so would not want it to have drums or boxes/bags. Yes, they would try and cooper the car to hold more. In the case of the 48520 it might even have an end door if it was still working. That would be a good one to shovel. You could have both outsides closed and just shoveled at the end. That would be fairly high. Hi all; In Russes' e-mail, he included this car: "18 CBQ 48520 LB 55 Blood QD IL MooManufa" Can anyone shed more light on this car load? I believe it's a 50' double door box car. Where did the blood come from (a slaughter house?), where was it going, what was it used for and, if it is a box car, was it in drums or dried in boxes/bags. This struck me as a very interesting load... Thanks! Jeff Jeff Worones Seattle WA [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
