Bill Glick's trilogy on BR passenger equipment is THE 'bible' of CB&Q pre-S.S.
equipment: diagrams, data & photos with a LOT of interesting sidelights & info.
As Charlie said, a LOT of Q hwt equipment operate up to Amtrak AND Bill
document's the MoW renumberings. I.E. pure wood equipment lasted in BN & is
shown in Bill's books (he has the renumberings to BN, Amtrak, Q MoW, private
ownership, etc PLUS went to the trouble of full drwgs as many cars were
different from one side to the other.

Few if any Q experts will ever again self-publish if our own mbrs do not take
advantage of competitively priced, top-quality books. So if you did not get
all that you wanted from Santa last month, write or email Bill with an order of
books now! (& he appreciates Q fans locating hobby shops that will carry any
or all of the 3 books)

Those who attended my clinic on BR books a couple yrs ago @ Oregon know full
well how the Glick trilogy stacks up to the scores of other BR books.

Thanks again Bill for a TREMENDOUS labor of love!
Gerald
