1) This has no place on this board.

2) I'm offended by its presence here.

3) It is not even accurately posted bilge. The Ben Stein piece in 
question has been heavily edited and originally ended after the 
paragraph starting 'It doesn't bother me a bit when people say, 'Merry 
Christmas' to me.'

4) Much of what is in the additional material is untrue (such as Dr. 
Spock's child commiting suicide. See 
'http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/benstein2.asp' for a discussion 
of this.

5) This is a darned good argument for a moderated list.

Lamoyne, what were you thinking that made you think that this was 
appropriate here?
