There's only 1 E7 left. It's one of the original PRR E7 A-A set, I can't
remember the original number or which of the original number the one loan
survivor is..... It's now at the PA State Railroad Museum across the road from
the
Strasbourg Railroad.
I always thought that "vent" behind the cab door on the E7, was to make up
the difference between the slanted nose of the earlier E's and the bulldog
nose of the E7. It is in the same position as the cab door on the older slant
nosed E units.
