I don't know the answer to your first question, but can address the second.
Renascence was the CB&Q 1935 calendar top illustration. Gerald Edgar
kindly sold me one of the tops, which I scanned at high resolution and
cleaned up digitally. I'm looking for a local (Northern California)
printer that does high-quality posters and plan to print a run of
Renascense full-size (23 x 22.6 inches). I've been hoping to do so in time
for the Fall meet, but that is iffy at this point in time...
