The diagram is for the post-1959 Chinese Red lettering. The car would have
received standard CB&Q Railroad Roman Lettering.
I don't have a L&P diagram for that version.
In fact, does anyone have a L&P drawing for the CB&Q Railroad Roman "font"?
If I could get a copy I'd convert it to a truetype font.
Each railroad's "Railroad Roman" was slightly different and the CB&Q is no
different in being different.

need to know which paint color best represents the as-built appearance
of this car in 1939? Does anyone have a picture of an as-built FM-12
or a W&R imports painted model they can send me for decaling purposes?
