Hi Leo,

There are some geneology and map sites that list Williams Station. I have
listed it below:
http://hometown.aol.com/dcarter956/myhomepage/heritage.html

The sntry is followed by a source dated 1872.

Tonight I came across , aman who lives in Van Orin, Il, he
posed a question, I could not answer, he said that at one time Van
Orin went by the name of Williams Station, can any one confirm that,
also, supposedly, an steam loco sank into the ground there. Thanks
 Leo McCauley McNabb, Il.
