In the new Zephyr #55, on page 17, are reproductions of three blueprint pages.
For those members who have yet to receive their copy, I won't disclose why the
pages are shown. However, I can advise that they contain details of passenger
cars supposedly as at 1922, showing the classes allocated to cars of various
types, but they are difficult to read.

With the help of a magnifying glass and Bill Glick's Passenger Car Roster book,
I have managed to decipher most of the detail and I've posted the results as a
Word document in the Group Files section as "Zephyr #55 blueprint pages".
Unfortunately, the right hand of the three pages appears to have been scanned
at a lower resolution and the top half is unreadable. It lists Miner & Shop
cars in the 9000 number series in classes FM-1 to FM-9, but the car numbers can
only be guessed.

On the bottom half of that page, there is a notation against "class PC-7 - 70'
0" steel underframe ???? canc." As there weren't any PC-7's, I presume that
the lot was cancelled, but what is the missing word?

The left hand page shows that cars 3267, 3300, 3301, 3310 and 3313 were
actually rebuilt as suburban cars 3600-3604 and not scrapped as previously
thought. However, that is in itself a problem as the scrapping of the cars and
the building of the 3600-3604 cars are both shown as 1927 and the pages were
supposed to date from 1922!

The pages include of the details of class allocations that are not shown in
Bill's book, so is there any chance of having the right hand page rescanned to
identify the Miner & Shop cars, plus any other pages from this series?
