I was in Minooka on Monday 1/21 and ran into one of the owners. He
stated that he and his partner did not sell the MTZ but took Mr.
Butterworth on as an additional partner. MTZ is being relocated to
Madison, IL which is next to Granite City. It is still their intention
to rehabilitate the train into an operating unit. He said that it will
take lots of time and money to accomplish this task. I took pictures
and will try to post them when I have time. I took some interior shots
of the Tom Sawyer and some close up detail shots as well. I was
especially fascinated with the Mark Twain signature on the end of the
Tom Sawyer as well on the letter drop slot on the Injun Joe.
