I sent a letter to Phil Walthers voicing my concern about the error on the
F7's (grab irons on the wrong side). Today I received an email stating that:
"new correct shells are being produced and will replace those on the
rejected units, at considerable cost as you might imagine. Future shipments
will be correct."
It pays to write to key individuals about concerns regarding modeling
errors.
I also asked them to look at the possibility of modeling a specific Q engine
that would have appeal to both GN and NP fans. He said that he passed on my
comments to the technical department - but like anything, I am sure if they
do decide to produce the model, it would be at least 2 to 3 years away. So
don't even ask what or when.
