I realize that on the face of it, this might not interest most here... but
Next Saturday (7/21) there will be a swap meet in the Chicago area
(Carol Stream Holiday Inn & Suites, Il 64 & Gary). Bob's Photos will
be there along with several other photo dealers & NKP Car. Bob will
be bringing passenger - related photo books, including the CB&Q,
C&NW, MILW, IC, UP, Pullman and other photo binders.
Convention registrants will be able to get in at 8, non-registrants
at 9 (goes to 2). Cost is $4 and there will be clinics associated
(that the swap meet fee allows entry into) with Modeling Clinics 9
AM Scenery - 10 AM Car weighting - 11 AM Weathering.
Tom (NKP Car) as you likely know is one of the few (in many cases
only) places to get prototypical CB&Q HW cars (in HO).
It might be a worth a trip to check it out.
