I've been going thru some of my BRHS literature that I finally had time to
unpack. I found some of the passenger train consist sheets and have a question
on the Ak Sar Ben Zephyr. It looks like it used 2-3 cars from the CZ on a
regular basis. I understand this was an arrangement to protect the CZ cars and
have them ready for their westward run. It also shows NP and NYC sleepers on a
frequent basis. Can anyone shed light on why these cars were on this train and
where they were headed?
