Some of the NP's 1960s-era mill gons bore the stencil "WHEN EMPTY
RETURN TO AGENT CB&Q R.R. RIVERDALE, IOWA"

I've been poking around and not having much luck so far figuring out
what particular shipper in the Riverdale/Davenport area those gons
were assigned to. Were these NP cars part of a formal car pool for a
particular customer, or set of customers, and if so, what series of
CB&Q or other road gons were also involved?

Thanks in advance for any help. Best,

Chris Frissell
