[CBQ] Ballast Hoppers on the FW&D

Does anyone know what types of cars were used by the Fort Worth & 
Denver for ballast hauling/placement in the late 40's/early 50's?  
Were any of the Q's Rodgers cars used "down south" during that time 
period? (or did the Denver have something similar?)
