In 1946 the CB&Q built 500 40' steel double door automobile cars class
XA-16 numbered 39000-39499, in the late fifties the auto racks were
removed and the cars were renumbered 9000-9499 for box car service.
Also in the 50's XA-11A single sheathed auto cars were renumbered
10000-10877.
and XA-12's and 13's were renumbered 7000-7488.
