FYI to 2-rail O-scale & 3-rail O-gauge fans. I am not a manufacturer,

Back in 11/2006 Atlas-O announced a new 0-6-0 USRA steam locomotive,
offering CB&Q #503 & #505. The model is depicted an black with silvr
firebox & smoke box. The lettering is gold both under the cab window &
on the herald. The cab roof is depicted as black. MSRP's are $650 (3-
rail w/ RailSounds), $550 (2-rail no sounds), and $650 (2-rail w/
sounds). Estimated delivery 04/2007.
Question: should the cab roof be red? The color photos 0f G5 #507 &
G5A #514 in Al Holck's "BR Color Pictorial V1" do not very clearly show
the roof color. Most other steam locos in this book have red roofs.
What other USRA-designed steam locos did the CB&Q have?
