On page 11, there is a photo of the combines Colorado Limited & St.
Louis Limited, and the first car appears to be a Harriman car. Is it
a Harriman car, and if so, is it a UP, SP, IC or CofG car, or is it a
Rock car (or?) ? It doesn't seem to be a WP car, which appears on
page 14 and *may* again on page 25. The time period would not be
right for a D&RGW arch roofed baggage car. The number of vents, and
positioning again would seem to negate the WP car, and certainly
would negate a D&RGW or D&SL car. There are no windows on the side
of the car, which in this period would help identify it. At first I
wondered if this photo was misidentified, that appears to be a post
1930 updated car, but with the angle, it is difficult to tell. In
any case, it is an intriguing consist.
