I'm afraid I'm not current on what may be happening in Keokuk. I'm curious as
well, though. There is a Keokuk Electric Railway which may be involved, but I
don't no what guage they use.

Subject: [CBQ] Re: Keokuk, IA
I was traveling through Keokuk, IA, today, on US61. Just north of
town and slightly north of the turn off for Business 61, I briefly
noted a railroad under construction along the highway on the west
side. It appears to have a gauge of somewhere between 18" and 24". It
was not yet complete and there was a large number of ties stacked up.
Does anybody on the list in that vicinity know what is going on? I
assume that it may be a tourist attraction as the curves looked
relatively sharp. I should be going by there again in about 6 weeks
and may be able to check it out then.
I know this inquiry is not Q specific, but I thought if anyone knew
what was going on there, it would be someone on this list.
