That's the title of a great piece in the Summer 2006 Issue of REMEMBER THE
ROCK (Vol 3, No.2).

Even though published in a magazine entirely devoted to Rock Island, the
September 64 head on at Montgomery is (or should be) of great interest to fans
of both roads. The piece describes in great detail, with some wonderful
vintage pictures and schematics of the interlocking where the wreck occurred.
It
also describes in great, and understandible language) the series of events
that allowed the situation to occur.

RTR is published by Andover Junction Publications at Mendota, IL.

You should be able to pick up a copy of RTR at your local hobby store or go
to their website at _www.andoverjunction.com_ (http://www.andoverjunction.com)
  and order a copy direct.

Pete
