I know that the subject of the Burlington Route herald has been discussed
before, but when was the "Burlington Route" slogan (is that the correct term?)
adopted?
I've been studying the ORER's in great detail for the last three years but have
only just noticed that the phrase "Burlington Route" appears at the top of ORER
pages for the subsidiaries from 1896 onwards, and on the first CB&Q page above
the name of the railroad from 1900 to 1902. Thereafter it is found on
subsequent pages. Amazing what you don't see!
