kits and they are beautiful.  Saw one in DesPlains Hobby Shop besides at the 
show
All I have put together is an All Nation Kit and it is a disappointment so 
wound up fixing it.
I do not think there has been a brass waycar since the late 70's

  None of the major O-gauge manufacturers have offered a CB&Q wood-
