I recall seeing all of the engines you mentioned in service on the Creston
Division in the 1950's.
GP and SD's were used on the mainline locals...I recall seeing the VO's
switching at Red Oak and on the Red Oak Hamburg trains...I have a photo or two
of
one of these at the Villisca Enginehouse in late 53 or early 54.
