There is a picture on page 65 of Al Holck's Burlington Route Color Pictorial Vol. 2 of a Q train in July 1968. The fourth unit is a GP30, but what is interesting is that the number board is black letters on white. Black on white number boards were found on the U28/30B's and on the 600 series GP40's. The only number visible in the photo is the leading '9'. Anyone know what GP30 this is that got black on white number boards? Tom Mack Cincinnati, OH Yahoo!
