Hello,

I am looking for information on the Burlington and Northwestern Railway
but not having any luck. The B&NW was a narrow guage line in southeast
Iowa. I believe it ran from Burlington to Washington Iowa. But that
is about all I know of it. Can anyone direct me to information on this
railroad, its history, it routes etc.?

I received a very nice pencil skecth for Christmas of a B&NW passenger
train. On the back all it says is "Burlington and Northwestern Railway
near Washington IA". I would like to learn more of this line and its
history.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
