I can't view the links you left on the e-mail. I believe the south wye that
branches northeast is the line going to Ipava and if there is a westward leg
in the picture it would be the crossover going from Rushville to Ipava. If
you want to just come on over to Vermont some time and I will show you some
of the maps I have.

All,
While viewing an online copy of the 1947 USGS topographical map of
Vermont IL, I noticed what appears to be a second wye, due south of
the Rushville branch wye. The tail track of the wye extends east. On
the map, it is printed in purple. The map legend is not available.
Does anyone know the purpose of the caboose? Can anyone tell me what
the purple is supposed to represent?
